Atten is a Chrome extension built by Ojash Gurung that filters social media content based on your focus goal. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we never do.
Atten collects only the minimum data necessary to function:
Content titles are sent to our backend at api.atten.page solely to evaluate whether they are relevant to your focus goal. This evaluation is performed by a third-party AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) based on your selection. We do not store, log, or share the content titles or evaluation results beyond completing the request.
Depending on your selected AI model, content titles may be sent to:
These providers process your requests under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing them if you have concerns.
Atten stores your focus goal, provider preference, and a local evaluation cache in Chrome's local storage. This data never leaves your device except as part of normal extension operation described above. You can clear this data at any time using the “Clear Cache” button in the extension popup.
We do not retain any user data on our servers. Each evaluation request is stateless — no logs, no databases, no user profiles.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
If you have any questions about this privacy policy, contact us at contact@atten.page.
